Start Early
You should start early. We recommend Year-2.
There are a lot of people who would advise you to start preparing your child for 11 plus when he/ she is in Year-4. We disagree with them.
The preparation for grammar school should start when your child enters Year-2. The eleven plus exam requires a lot of different skills. When the child is in year-2, the focus should be on developing mental calculation and vocabulary. This would make entry into grammar school really easy.
